Carl Roth, a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, New Jersey, is licensed to practice in New Jersey, New York, Florida and California. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, NJ Society of CPAs, NY State Society of CPAs, Florida Institute of CPAs, California State Society of Certified Public Accountants, and Licensed Independent Network of CPA financial Planners (LINC). He is a former adjunct professor of accounting at Ramapo College of New Jersey in Mahwah, New Jersey and a former instructor of a coach course for CPA exam candidates. He has served in various positions on the Board of Directors of several non-profit organizations.
Carl's experience encompasses taxes, financial and estate planning, litigation support, mergers and acquisitions, and management consulting. He has frequently been called upon to assess the monetary validity of litigation and to testify as an expert witness.
Carl earned the coveted Accredited Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) designation from the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) after intensive study, a stringent exam and satisfaction of financial planning experience requirements.
Sherill Spellman, a graduate of Ramapo College of New Jersey in Mahwah, New Jersey is licensed to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and NJ Society of CPAs. She has served on the Ambassadors' Committee of the Commerce and Industry Association of NJ and is a member of the NJ Association of Women Business Owners.
Sherill focuses primarily on monthly accounting, tax preparation and auditing. She provides representation with taxing authorities at both the federal and state levels, as well as with the IRS collections division in helping to set up a payment plan for those clients who do not have immediate funds with which to pay their assessments. She performs audits on various clients including non-profit organizations.
Doris Newman, staff accountant, is a graduate of Hunter College in New York.. She concentrates on the monthly accounting and payroll services, as well as corporate tax returns, for a varied clientele. She has been working with many of the same clients for more than 20 years.
Melissa Gracey, staff accountant, began working part-time at the firm while a student at Montclair State University in New Jersey. Upon graduating, she joined the firm on a full time basis. Her experience includes monthly accounting services, tax preparation and auditing.
Donna Corrado, administrative assistant, has been with the firm for more than eight years. In addition to handling general office functions, correspondence and data entry, she is responsible for the processing of our payroll services.
